YouTube chat guidelines

Please adhere to the following guidelines while participating in our YouTube chat:

  1. No spamming: Avoid posting the same message repeatedly or sharing irrelevant content. This can be disruptive to the conversation and may result in you being timed out or banned from the chat.
  2. No excessive use of caps: Avoid typing in all caps or using excessive capitalization, as it can be seen as shouting and may be considered rude or aggressive. YouTube may also flag these as spam.
  3. No political comments: Stay away from making political comments, as they can often be divisive and may result in arguments or heated debates that are not productive in the context of a YouTube chat. Stick to the topic at hand and avoid controversial or polarizing subjects.
  4. Stay respectful: Treat other participants with kindness and respect, even if you disagree with their opinions or perspectives. Remember that everyone is entitled to their own beliefs and feelings, and it's important to engage in conversations in a civil and respectful manner.
  5. In regards to analyzing radar and posting weather information: Please do not post information regarding storms, especially critical information, unless you are 100% certain of the information and can back up your claim with either a source or reasoning. For example, don't state "Large tornado about to hit the town!" unless there's a confirmed tornado warning from the NWS stating such, or we've confirmed it on our stream. Your uncle Jack in New Zealand texting you after seeing some other YouTuber's stream does not count.
  6. Moderators have a blue wrench icon next to their name. They are the house-keepers of the chat and will answer any questions you may have regarding the guidelines or the stream in general.
  7. No promotion. Please refrain from promoting other streamer's channels unless they are a partner of our channel, or pre-approved by a moderator.

By following these guidelines, you can help create a positive and productive environment for everyone participating in the chat.
